On the afternoon of June 21, the signing ceremony of school-enterprise cooperation and scholarship donation between College of Construction Engineering of Jilin University and the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB (the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CSCEC) was held at Meeting Room 319，Shuigong Building, Chaoyang Campus. The ceremony was hosted by Cao Pinlu, and attended by Xu Yao, GM of Human Resources Department, Zhao Miao, director of the Talent Training Center, Pan Hao of Party Building Center and Liu Yunlong of Talent Introduction Center from the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB (the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CSCEC) and Deputy Dean Wang Boxin and Zhang Wen from the College of Construction Engineering.
On behalf of the college, Deputy Dean Wang Boxin firstly welcomed GM Xu Yao and his delegation, and expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the guests for their philanthropic push of setting up the scholarship to support the students of Jilin University. He then briefly introduced the history, discipline development, faculty, personnel training, scientific research and other conditions of the college. He hopes that both parties give full play to the advantages of convenient co-location, cooperate with careful planning and in innovative modes, and jointly cultivate highly competent people with proper behaviors, strong ability and excellent performance in business for construction industry, and make contributions to regional economic development.
GM Xu Yao expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of the college. He introduced the industrial background and development prospect of the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB (the Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CSCEC), as well as their achievements in poverty alleviation, social services and public welfare undertakings. He is looking forward to establishing a sustainable, multi-faceted and win-win cooperation model with our college as Jilin University has a complete range of disciplines, diverse academic resources and excellent cultivation system. This donation is not only putting the school-enterprise cooperation into practice, but also expresses the concern the company attaches to education and talent cultivation. During the meeting, the two parties further exchanged views on cooperation mode, student employment and talent development environment, and reached a preliminary consensus. Subsequently, the two parties signed a memorandum about school-enterprise cooperation internship base, and Deputy Dean Zhang Wen, on behalf of our college, awarded the plaque for " Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB (CSCEC)- College of Construction Engineering, Jilin University Off-campus Production & Practicing Base".
The company sets up the " Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB Sailing for Dream Scholarship" program for students of the College of Construction Engineering, Jilin University. Scholarship fund of RMB 100,000 yuan per year will be provided for three consecutive years to support students excelling both in morals and studies to remove the financial barriers and complete their courses. At the same time, " Urban Construction Co., Ltd. of CCTEB Sailing Class" is going to be set up. Each student of the class will be funded RMB 10,000 yuan. On behalf of the College, Deputy Dean Cao Pinlu accepted the scholarship fund donated by GM Xu Yao.
